Here is my first home-built that I made with my dad about four years ago when I started high school. We built the frame with 1"x1" square tubing, and everything is crafted in our shed. For brakes we used a pair of car brake pads that close on a disk with cables attached to the pedal. there is a compartment under the seat. We used a stock Tecumseh 5hp, and I painted it rattle-can in Ford red. Although it looks heavy, it is extremely strong and still has plenty of take off power and torque. When I built this, I was pretty much a kid rebelling against everyone my age getting dirtbikes. Of course, I was still the only one at that time with a job and didn't have parents buying things for me. Thanks for looking!
