My first mini bike

#1
I joined not to long ago and I already started playing around with the bike. First thing I did was strip the whole bike down. It was painted a weird blue color with tons of overspray on the shocks. So I went with a red that matches my car. While I had it all torn apart I replaced all the brake and throttle cables. Made such a huge difference. Brake pads were shot so I replaced them. I put a new 212cc motor in it. New max torque clutch. New clutch cover. New air filter. New throttle. I also cut off the weird bar that looks like someone added at some point in time.

That's the day I got it

My daughter and I tearing it apart one rainy day

There it is all put back together. Replaced every rusted bolt with new bolts.

New clutch cover. I painted it Gloss black after the picture because it started rusting on me

My buddy and I going on a 4 hour ride

And I just got this in the mail today

The next thing will be recovering the seat black

Thanks everyone. The only thing I can say I don't like about it so far is that my friends pocket bike is way faster. His is a 49cc an tops out around 42, where mine is around 39-40. But I have way more low end power than he does and I do most I my riding through the trails

One of my buddies pulled his old mini out of his garage and we went to work on it today. Spent probably 3 hours trying to get the motor to turn over. Then we said screw it and I gave him my spare predator.

We ended up taking the tank off and using the tank that the bike had on it. Needs to be fine tuned but it doesn't have a governor and thing runs amazing. Does about 42mph. I also found out when it got dark that my bike blows flames

so what did you do to the white engine to try and start it? im geat with these and might be able to point you in the right direction. my avice on that engine woold be: 1. clean rust off coil and magnet. 2 pull flywheel and clean rust off points 3 replace carb gaskets and thoroughly clean out carb. after that it shoold start but you may have to re tune the carb.

Wasn't my motor and he didn't really know what to do and we just wanted to ride so we swapped it.
