Parts will start arriving today.

Have a buddy that's into snowmobiling, he has his '75 Arctic Cat Kitty Kat from when he was a kid. He's in the middle of restoring it, this little 98cc engine that comes with the Rascal Lite will drop right in the little sled.
He's happy to get a powerplant for it.

Supposed to be here Monday.

Rascal kit supposed to be delivered tomorrow.
Picked up primer and paint, some decals came in. Hope to get the frame and forks painted tomorrow and let it sit for 3-4 days.

Rascal Lite kit arrived today.
All I can say, Is you get what you pay for.
Quality.

Pick up the wheels/tires in the morning, put SUNF street tires on it.
I have pieces cut and ready to weld and here's the rest of the stuff required to put it all together.

I mostly ride country paved roads and around the neighborhood so street tires were in order. I have a buddy that gets the tires that came with the kit.

6 ply for hard pack.
Wheels are the kit standard flat face I guess you could call them.

I work fast, so it should move right along.

Progress, handlebars are made, frame modifications are done. Picked up my wheels and tires this morning.
Frame mods were lower the rear fender mount, in the way of the exhaust.
Cut down the foot peg tubes and cut a long rod with bolts welded on the end for the threaded foot pegs.
Cut and welded the two 3/8 rod on the front down tube for a lexan shield to mount to. Shortened up the top plate to make refueling easier. Got the top plate and handlebars painted. Enough for the day.

Engine riser blocks made, in case I feel it needs a torque converter. The blocks are already in there.
Plenty of room for muffler to frame clearance after lowering the bracket.
And the gas tank fill is in a nice location.
Got the forks painted. All is good there, now I need to put the effort into getting the frame prepped and painted.

No progress on the frame, it's been too damned windy to be painting. Been getting all the little things painted and assembled set to the side. I did decide I could put the front end together and get an idea how the red and grey work or won't work together.
I think they will work.

Bam, we got a rock and roller.
Mount an engine, cut a chain and shorten the brake cable and sleeve.
Gopowerssports Rascal Lite kit with a few changes.
