Narrow it down for me?

#1
Hi since I'm new here and haven't posted pictures yet but am impatient to figure out what I have after many searches, what mini bikes had the motor suspended with the rear wheel so the engine mounting plate hinged in the middle of the bottom frame rails and didn't require a second jack shafted chain. Also it has somewhat of "ape hanger" handlebars like some ARCO's that I've seen.
Of course those forks could have been swapped.
I bought it from a guy who forgot most of the history but owned it for thirty? years or so.
Just want to narrow it down so I could search some names. Much thanks, this is a great site.
This stuff gets in your blood eh?

It sure does get in your blood. It would be REALLY difficult to name your bike without seeing it. Post up a picture, or at least a link to it and we'll do our best (or I'll do my worst, because I'm horrible at this game).

Welcome to the madness. We can't help you rid yourself of your addiction here -- only feed it.

BINGO! Until I saw the side view of the above darker blue one's pivot bolt under the engine I didn't know the engine mounts on Ropers hinged.
Plus it has the small "sissy bar" in the back that threw me. If it had the gas tank it would have been a dead giveaway, did they all come with upper gas tanks? , it's time to start looking for that part now... If anyone has a tank for sale feel free to let me know, I'm near Albany NY
Thanks much guys.

No, they did not all come with that tank. In fact the seat is different if it had the tank as opposed to if it did not. As you can see in the ads.

I see that, mine has the seat that is missing the tank in front of it, although the seat isn;t perfect so I suppose I could replace it with a regular tankless seat but I'de rather replace the tank and restore it as close to original as possible. Someone removed the sprockets and jack shaft and sent the chain directly to the rear sprocket though. Thanks to everyone who replied, this is a great site.
