Need Help with my new Tecumseh carb.

I recently purchased the Tecumseh carb for my HM80 and it has a hose nipple besides the fuel line nipple. Can someone tell me what it's for? I have determined the nylon fitting is for the fuel line. I don't know what the aluminum fitting is for.

that fitting is for the engines breather toob to attach to, so it vents any oil it spits out into the carb. i woold suggest using it since its there. that carb looks like the non ajustable carb i have on my ohh55 but bigger. the older fully ajustable carbs run better.
