I cleaned the gas tank on my Predator 212 to get rid of the rust/scale. I think I need to replace the gas line fitting/strainer but I cannot find the part or where to order. I searched the forum, but may be using the wrong terms.
This is the fitting that screws into the bottom of the tank with a strainer that the gas line attaches to. BTW in trying to clean the strainer, all the material in the ribs broke out so I just cleaned up the loose material. I figure the fuel strainer in the cap opening should catch the big stuff.
Is that strainer critical?
