New 224cc engine just stays in idle all the time?

I recently took out the governor from this new engine predator but when I put back together and oiled it up it just stays in idle. When give it gas it's goes nowhere. Does anyone know what's wrong?

You should have left the governor in it.

Its max HP is at 4800 rpm, you could have easily, tuned the governor to that rpm, if you have an aftermarket flywheel.

There is NO NEED to go passed 4800, you will have less power and go slower.

There's more to these engines then jus removing the governor for more rpm.

Put it back the way it was, get it running the way it was made, break it in and then ask how to tweak it.
