New Guy- intro

Hi everyone. New guy here on the forum. I've recently become obsessed with finding a "beater" minibike to introduce myself to the addiction. Want to build one with my sons and ride it around. I've always had Honda xr50s and can't wait to start working on something vintage and simple. Teach the boys something while I'm at it. Anyway, I live in San Diego and have been scouring craigslist and such. I love checking out all your projects and hope to have one soon.

I recently picked up an older 3.5 Briggs. A white one with some patina. Figure it's a start. Anyone know of an inexpensive roller in socal let me know. Thanks!

Welcome Dennis! :thumbsup: Yup craigslist or the classifieds should find you a beater roller. If that doesn't work try a wanted ad here as well, might get some response.

Start searching Craig's List and Letgo.com You will want to purchase something local that you can pick up, as shipping one across the county can get expensive.
