New Power Products toy

Here is an aluminum kart mount for a Power Products engine. These are getting hard to find. Ready for blasting. I plan to use this one with this engine and modify the black steel one to fit a D35 Clinton saw engine. IMG_20260206_104320.jpg

Here is another "gem" from the vintage karting world. A G.E.M. muffler for a Power Products engine. Probably an AH58 or 61, but it fits my little 47.

Another rare find for these old engines: A Reed engineering pyramid reed plate and an NOS home lite chainsaw reed cage, complete with NOS reed petals! IMG_20260206_104401.jpg
I plan to get back to work on this pretty soon. My air compressor will not start in this cold weather. It tries a little bit, then blows the breaker. I had a 500 watt heat lamp on it in December and got it going, but that put a big drain on the battery bank, so I had to decide to run the compressor or the lights and heat. I just turned everything off and went back to the house.

The weather finally warmmed up enough to spray sme clear coat on my red parts last weekend. I started putting it back together today. IMG_20260324_120522.jpg IMG_20260324_131441.jpg
That plug protector is a chainsaw part, but I like it here.

I seem to have misplaced one of the gas tank hold down bolt. Maybe it fell down in the blast cabinet or on the floor, but I gave up trying to find it. My son and I will go out and crawl around some other day. The flywheel is still off because I need to clean and gap the points and set the timing. I do have a toggle switch to go in that hole in the shroud for a kill switch. IMG_20260324_123903.jpg
Anybody got a spare they could sell me? IMG_20260324_131357.jpg I even found the correct screws/ bolts to mount the engine to the mount.
