New predator engine dying

I bought a 212cc predator for my pit bike and when I start riding it it will go for about 5 minutes it will start sputtering and shutoff after if sits for a couple of minutes it starts right back up.

Is your fuel tank vented?

Yep on what Charles S said.
Also check for fuel flow out of the tank to the carb( clogged strainer if it has one in the tank)
Make sure the fuel line is not kinked/crushed
Make sure the ON/OFF valve is truly opening.
Check the needle valve in the float bowl for sticking.
