Luckily we have been in good shape for that stuff.

I have a medium sized generator. I can run my wood stove blower, tv and some lights no problem
I don't want to be without power though. No one wants to be without power

Eh.. I got a new MP3 player for xmas, and got the computer..

You spend more time melting snow for flushing the toilet and stuff though.. Go drive around and rescue everybody.. :hammer: More busy with no power..

i lost power 8:08pm saturday and it was restored today at 10:31am.

a little less than an inch of ice took out a bunch of utility wires.

my 20kW onan kicked on and ran perfectly the whole time. went
through roughly 90 gallons of propane. i'll have a more accurate
fuel consumption number when the tank get filled next week.

OUCH!! I was running a 1000 watt 3.5 horse briggs, that I MADE a adjustable main jet for, because the compression is low, and I had to adjust it.. Runs great now..

It'll run the fridge, TV, couple lights.. Fridge and computer and lights.. TV and garage..

Like a fridge and entertainment center..

It's fuel efficient though..

I went down like 11:00 pm, pretty sure it was saturday, and just got it back today for Xmas at like 4:00 or so..

that's pretty cool. mother is the need....

did you make the adjustable jet during the power outage?
Yeahhhh.. I probably WOULD HAVE just did the wire the choke idea... BUT was using a costumers generator for the first few hours...

I only charged him 10 bucks.. Dumb ass never came back for it.. Fck it, I'm using it..

SO.. I already found the parts I was gonna use and stuff, by time he showed up and got his genset..
