I tore apart a pallet of boxed NOS Bird Engineering parts and found axles and fork bolts in the bottom layer of boxes...
Axles are 6.5" or 8" long, zinc plated 5/8" fine thread with a lock nut...
Fork bolts are 4" or 4.5" long, zinc plated 5/8" fine thread with a lock nut...
I also found the unplated versions packed in grease, but I'm not cleaning those up yet...
The axles will fit several other brands of mini bikes...my Sensations use 6.5" axles and my Trail Horses use 8", so if you need axles, you might want to try these...
I think Bird also used these fork bolts for the front seat mount...I'm still looking for the 5" bolts...
$2.50 each, shipped as cheaply as possible...PM me.
