Harley had their name stuck on a bunch of stuff ffrom italy before amf. When amf had the brandname, amf used the name so much on so many diffierant things, well under the real harley quality.Thats what made them buy back the name.In my opinion that is a 1973 or 74 amf 250,with a bunch of stuff missing and a lot of,none harley aka amf stuff.NOT worth a darn.

After looking again,i think ace is right with the exception. The engine on the aeramacchi frames the engine was part of the frame as a stressed engine.
It lookes like the cradle was welded on after the fact.I do not believe amf had anything to do with the italian bikes.

It kinda looks like the old 1960's Triumph dirt bike / eduro frames...

But if they think it's a Harley, it's probably one of the Itallian bikes just labeled Harley..

It is more than likely a 1973-1975 Harley Z90 which makes it a 2 stroke 90cc 4 speed - if it had an engine. Basically the big tire version of a Harley X90 minibike. Yes they are AMF imported italian made bikes so many argue not real harleys.

I have a couple that I am combining to make one running one.

The frame is correct the way it is. The only thing I can see wrong is the handle bars are not suppose to be "chopper style".
