Number stamped on float bowl nut?

#1
I have a 2 yr old Tec OHH60 6 HP "Powersport" that has "166" stamped on the bottom of the float bowl nut. Can somebody tell me what that means? Is that the size of the main jet orifice? I have a high-flow K & N air filter installed on the carb. What size should the main jet be for best performance?
Thanks for any help!

yea thats your main jet size. those carbs are jetted lean to begin with so any improvements in airflow are going to make it leaner. if you read my other post you will have your answer.

Thanks loampey.
Yes, I will pull the sparkplug and take a look at it as you recommended in my other topic thread. I posted here as well as I thought this might be Tecumseh-specific. Does the "166" indicate a typical stock/standard size for this engine/carb, or do you think that it has been re-jetted?
Thanks for your help!

something else to consider too rich you might foul a plug too lean and you could smoke your engine I'm saying better to be too rich than lean.
