Alright, but what about the bugs on the windshields, guys and gals? More, or less than a decade+ ago?
Yesterday I drove 280 mi round trip and had one very small bug splat and that's it driving from SE PA to Williamsport.
You guys are right, the bugs are not here (Big sheet, June Bugs, etc) this year.
Only had 2 Monarch Butterflies in the yard so far. Used to be many.
no Stinkbugs or Laternflys yet.
Scary.

Saw some strange stuff in Pine Barrens over the years. Found a bunch of carved jackolanterns in the middle of the woods on a log. Pumpkins were found in the middle of nowhere. My son wanted to decimate pumpkins with 12 gauge but I discouraged the idea. Area has many deer poachers around and I didn't want to chance burning up shotshells to clown around and have game warden or park rangers zero in on our location and accuse us of hunting. I don't want to test my luck in NJ

Is it even legal to carry a shotgun in NJ?
NJ is really tough. Basically don't want any sort of firearm there. If you possess a firearm at any time you should have a reason to. Always locked up and always un loaded with ammo locked separately. Never allow law enforcement to search vehicle ever! If they ask if you have firearm in vehicle exercise your right to remain silent and offer vehicle credentials only.

bugs on windshield, probably not as much as I remember. Granted I been driving that dent side for nearly 2 years now and it's got a huge windshield compared to the Ion...

I recall April 4th specifically, (cause I sent my family a text about it that day) I went to the Inlet, like I do most mornings. And there were hundreds and hundreds of dragon flies swarming everywhere.

That was so refreshing, and a sure sign that spring was here.
Hello everyone. I went to the Inlet today "Murrells Inlet" - and the dragon flies have returned.

Last year it was April 4th that I first noticed them , whereas this year, it's a few weeks later April 15th.

Ain't nature Grand !!!
