While nothing as dangerous as the Nutty example, I dove 150 feet down into the Blue Hole in Belize. It's a submerged cave out on the reef. That's a pretty deep dive for normal sport scuba stuff. It was pretty cool.

If I'm not mistaken I think a few divers have bought the farm at the "Blue Hole". They hold their breath so long they pass out and drown.

last I knew, Jacques Cousteau found a couple divers down in there that had gone missing. They didn't bring them back up, He was in there to do research and found them. Ended up solving a mystery. I don't know if the authorities ever went back to get them or not.
It is a cave, but it's not a confined space type of environment. It's big and open in there, and kind of dark.
