No, It was in good shape when I got it. that was 6 years ago. It just needed new cables,seat cover, It now has the plastic replacement seat pan, since the metal one was rusted out. Those are a 75 deal if you can find them anymore. The engine needed freshen up. I had it bore .050 over with a new piston and I replace Ex.valve seal and new top end gaskets, Also did a mild porting on the head especially the exhaust side port. Put new bearings in front end and tube the front tire, It had a slow leak that kept pissing me off.
