Open test and tune is Saturday April 10th
**Poughkeepsie Drag MiniBike Shootout**
(5 or more make a class)
1) Supermodified Class – Small Block - Any Fuel and engine modification is allowed.
*if running a Billet, Block, Big Block, Blockzilla – bike MUST weigh a minimum of 300 lbs.
2) Pull Start Class – Small Blocks Only – NO Blockzillas – any fuel
3) Stock Appearing Class – small blocks only - any fuel – bike MUST look stock from 5 ft. away
4) Big Boy Class – Jockey must weigh a minimum of 230 lbs. – any small block engine modification, any fuel is allowed.
* if running a Billet, Block, Big Block, Blockzilla, bike MUST weigh a minimum of 300 Lbs.
5) Any Stock Engine Allowed – Clone, Flathead, Tillotson, Predator – Gas Only – bike MUST sound and run stock. This class will be Teched under protest prior to awarded.
6) Womens Open Class
7) Kids Class :
• 5 to 8 yrs old
• 8 to 12 yrs old
• 12 to 15 yrs old
***ONLY ENGINE RULE ***
Bike must have started as a production Block Predators – Animals - Tillotson – Clones – 5 Hp Briggs & Stratton ¬¬– Blockzillas – Tecumseh – ETC
Any motor that is governor delete must have an aluminum flywheel.
All bikes required to have some sort of number plate with your number of choice on it Except #1
Approved Clutch covers / chain guards will be available for sale by Tony Power Motorsports
**PERSONAL SAFETY ATTIRE**
***all mandatory to race***
1. Full face helmet designed for competition motorsports use must be worn.
2. All jockey’s are required to wear jackets made of the following materials: leather, vinyl, ballistic nylon or any other abrasion resistant material.
3. Jeans/Full pants – NO sweat pants
4. Shoes, socks & racing gloves
**Track Safety Requirements**
1. All axles, neck bolts and such must have lock nuts, cotter pin, double nuts or wire
2. GOOD braking system
ALL bikes will have to pass a Pre Race Inspection on Race Day, no exceptions
All rules and regulations apply to both Drag racing and oval track racing.
**Dates and Times**
April 10th Open practice for drag bikes.
Gates open at 10 a.m. and will close at 4 p.m.
$15.00 pit pass required
May 2nd Official First Ever Mini Bike racing at Poughkeepsie Raceway.
Gates open at 9 a.m. and close at 6 p.m.
**Poughkeepsie Raceway - Race Day Fees**
Everyone is required to purchase a General Admission Pit Pass is $15.00 per person.
Free Swap Meet / Vendor space with purchase of a Pit Pass.
Drag Bike entry is $30.00 per bike per class.
Oval Track racing is $30.00 per bike.
