I like the Murrays...nice lines...but please do use the footpegs! The jewels will thank you!
Here are my Murrays!

the West Bend is gone...have a clone now

and make a strut to your brake drum...the stopping is 100% better without the flex!

when you apply the brake, the mount flexes quite a bit and it doesn't stop as well as it can. The strut keeps the band aligned and it gets full contact. It gives a firmer feel to the lever and lets all your energy go to the band and not in the flexing of the mount. I am 280lbs and I can lock the rear tire up!

Nice job on the white Murray CP ! The round tank especially.
Thank you! ...but I hope that is a nice way of telling Gumpit not to come outta the closet with his whizzer...tank! My .02, I don't like those tanks. Part the appeal of the Murray for me is the curved top tube. Gumpit, I will send ya fuel pump if you scratch your whizzer...gas tank that is! and mount a tank somewhere else!

I've had a few Murray's, I kept buying them because I liked the way the looked... but I also kept selling them because they weren't too comfortable to ride. Although, that's a great deal for $125

I think the Predator will be fine with a little help from a Mini Baja jackshaft/backing plate. I need to find a cover for the backing plate and a clutch though. I usually just toss that stuff when I put on the Torque Converters. :doah: is the clutch a 420? 40/41?
