Picked up a Murray Track 2

#22
The motor is just sitting on there to make sure it would fit with the stock air filter and muffler. It does. Its not lined up left or right yet because I haven't mounted the baja jackshaft yet. Im not too worried about the left and right alignment. Looks like plenty of room.

I've had a few Murray's, I kept buying them because I liked the way the looked... but I also kept selling them because they weren't too comfortable to ride.
Not to Hijack this but I think the Track 2 is one of the better riding mini's I have owned. I have two of them.
Maybe it's like Barbecue, each person likes their own sauce, mustard based, vinegar based, ketchup based, mesquite, etc. What tastes good for me may be not what tastes good for you.

Hijackers welcome. I have actually never ridden one. So we will see.
Gumpit I went back and looked at the add you posted. Looks like you got a nice stock unmolested Murray.

I had to redo the neck bearings one one of mine and passed up buying another one for the same reason. They use almost like a bicycle bearing on the neck. Looks like yours may be all there.

Actually I'm buying another house and renting mine out. Good thing the new one is a little bigger and right behind mine. Gonna take the fence down and move right across the back yards...lol

Same size garage I have now. I am going to drag my carport to the backyard and steal about 20x20 of my backyard for the other house to be my shop area. Since I am just going to rent this house it will be no problem.
