I'm located in Petaluma.
That's quite a ways from me. There was a REALLY nice Trail Bronc for sale there locally on craigslist recently.

Last time I was in Petaluma was coming home from Bodega Bay and saw somebody riding a newer Doodlebug through town at night on the main highway through town LOL

When were you driving through Petaluma. We have a classic car show up here in Honor of American Graffiti that was filmed at my high school. This year I'm going to see If I can enter my bikes.

I noticed there is an extra cross member on the upper frame (under the seat)... I've installed those on both of my 1200s as I believe it adds significant strength to the frame loops.

Also, what are you going to use for fork boots? Found anything reasonable yet?

The bike came with the fork boot's. And what do you mean by gussets. If you are talking about the welded plates on the forks then no I didn't want to screw up the forks. When I come across another pair of forks I will replace them.
