Pitbikes?

#1
Hey I am trying to find a Forum that deals with Pit Bikes.. I know on here mostly everyone has a minibike.. Is there any good forums out there that people know that deal with Pit bikes? Unless they deal with them here also. Because I just got one and i am trying to modify it but need suggestions and help

Technically that's still just a motorcycle. Just a bigger engine in a kids bike frame. So dirt bike forums might be best place. But like some one said, I'm sure quite a few people on here have one and would probably try and help where they can!

Looks like something that you can have some serious fun on!

They use a copy of the Honda horizontal engine that was used on the ct70, z50's and etc.
My pitbike is a 125cc also like yours. I got to take some pictures of it this weekend. I like it, it rides so good offroad compared to the vintage minibikes that rattle your cage on anything off the pavement.
What are you trying to modify on yours. They come pretty trick out the way they come out of the factory.

Sounds like a good motor for a mini swap..... If anything catastrophic happens that's non engine related. (knock on wood) What they top out at on pavement?

Yeah it is trick out already kind of but i just want to add a pipe and a few more modifications to the engine to get more power and speed. It does run good and dirt and the street and it a nice little bike.

I am not really worried about the frame snapping sense it China made because i have a welder and can reinforce / fix that.. But knock on wood it doesn't happen

I don't think you will have to worry about a frame snapping unless your jumping it like a supercross bike. I have seen some of the videos on YouTube of what people do to there pit bikes and then bitch when the frame breaks. Ride it properly and you will be okay. or you can get a 1000 dollar plus BBR frame for it.

Here is mine. Its 2010, 125cc.

I put a racing CDI on my 71 Coleman that I put a 125cc Lifan in and that made a big difference in power , but I don't get stupid with the RPM's and over rev too high , But if I do I will put in another Lifan engine
