In the Trail Scooter hayday, there were as many as 60 manufacturers. I think this was another design in that category.

So as far as the "polaris trail tractor" goes, any idea as to when the first/last year they were produced and were they mainly sold through polaris snowmobile dealers back then or ?

i remember seeing one on craigslist year ago or so. sorry i can't help now, from the looks of the engine recoil, it would be around a 61 bike?
tecumseh only made that type of recoil for about a year or so and then change the design.
