Powell Bro Serial Numbers List

The forks on XJrocks bike were lengthened on the inside , he extended them with spacers to pick up the front end a little . The B models just about sat on the ground .

Powell 6899 MO "Challenger", which should put it right about August or September of 1971-which I Think was Tecumseh 3.5hp powered



 
The E models are sweet , nice bike there Dave .
Thanks. I originally got it for parts, but it was just too nice to strip. Ended up getting the driven "guts" machined, brake lined, belt tension lever fabricated, new spring, new bearings, and most likely on it's way back to a new owner in CA.
