As far as parts go Ebay or post a Wanted ad in the classified section and cross your fingers! Don't throw any old parts away. For your basic parts give Hent.com a try.

Thanks RobertC. My hope is when he is jamming through the neighborhoods the kids on their P.C.s will come running out like he is the ice cream man. Then maybe they will want one too.

Made it by the the Christmas deadline. The boy and crew are super proud. Great to have this one preserved, rolling and looks great with the current modifications to upgrade in the future.

so you just used a centrifugal clutch to the idler pulley/new cog? Im looking for the part number of the original Comet drive side clutch......

Challenger originally took a Comet torque convertor driver in front, it looks like you used a centrifugal clutch to do the same job. Just an observation as these centrigugal clutches are 90% less expensive than the Comet cone style drives.
