Powell Challenger or Phantom 7

It looks like a Powell Challenger with a modified rear suspension setup and Comet Torq-a-Verter. It also has front drum brakes like a Phantom 7? Foot rests are angled at the heel? Frame stamped 5025 E. Thanks for the help.:thumbsup:

Nice bike you have. I dunno which it is for sure, but I believe only the Phantom 7 had the front brake

its a challenger, modified swingarm, the e model had lights originally. the front brake was an option for any powell.

I could be wrong but I think only the wheel and fr brake is Phantom 7 the rest?
i own model's B,E,F,H and a J! I don't think they made a Phantom's until
the J model? But I could be wrong! Where the Hell is BAB when you need him??????

Its an E model frame, around 1970 with a modified swing arm, added shocks, snow blower Tec, TAV, Phantom front end. It's a mish-mash, but probably a good riding bike. (That's my uneducated guess)

It's a E model by what the frame says , looked like this originally.

You guys, LOL Its a model E Challenger . Moded. oem had 4HP Tecumseh with lighting coil. The front wheel and Brake was the only Powell ad ons the rest was all non Powell ad ons. Wolf Bros should know this.

The front brake was an option but for the earlier E model I not so positive but it was an option in 71
