Powerland motors any good?

Big, heavy engine. In my opinion too big for a mini bike. But some guys like that.

It is comparable (almost identical) to the predator 420cc engine.

I got the 420cc on a drag mini. And I like it. I have taken the side cover off to inspect and it all looks really good. I removed the governor and low oil sensor already before I even added oil. I also added a exhaust header, top plate, and air filter mod with billet adapter. Everything seems to interchange with the gx390 and NOT the predator stuff.

Thanks for the input, You think it's worth putting on a warrior? Or would that be too much work?

I bought my 420 powerland for $160 shipped. And have zero complaints. Other than it comes lean from the factory and I went up about 4_6 drill bit sizes to fix it.

Arc racing told me the gx390 rod and cam will fit for sure. I'm gonna run mine before mods and after so I haven't actually bought them yet tho. Arc part 6272 was the one they told me to buy for the power land 420cc

So I've got 3.5 hours on my powerland so far. Runs great BUT it has a awful lot of crank end play. Like I'm guessing 1/16-1/8".
Ummm, that's too much. Hopefully you are a bad guesser. :scared:

I wouldn't run an engine with more than about 1/32" end play.

Did you lose a shim or add a thick sidecover gasket when you had the sidecover off?

Haven't lost anything. And it's the OEM gasket. I'm getting ready to order a rod and cam anyways. So i will check when its apart to be safe. I have done enough testing to go another step with more mods already.
