Predator 212 flywheel (hemi)

Does anyone have any tricks for removing the stock flywheel on a brand new motor. I would like to take it off asap so i can get the kids kart going.

put the nut back on the crank and use a flat head behind the flywheel and tap on the flywheel to try and pop it off. I'm sure you have already done this but keep going it should pop. if not you might need some kind of puller. I have various pullers at the shop for diff. things I ended up using one of those.

When you put the nut back on don't snug it down against flywheel , just thread it on a little over half way on the nut then use a dead blow hammer or a brass one and hit the nut and pry a little between flywheel and block . A couple of hits and she will pop louse .

I used a bigger hammer and a pry-bar. Came off with one blow... Thank you guys. I had read all over to use a screwdriver and a hammer. It just wasn't working. The mini sledge and the pry-bar worked instantly.

HF has plastic swedges that I use. just knock the swedge behind flywheel and some times they pop without hitting nut.

It came off with one blow with a larger hammer and larger pry bar.
