Predator 212 Gas tank/Hawg Ty

Hello All I was working on my Hawg Ty project today. I have the 212 Predator engine in the frame and set the fake tank on to see how it looks and that is when I discovered the gas filler is in the wrong spot. The old engine is over to the right side of engine, where the new Predator is more in the center. I could use the old tank in a pinch but would rather have new if possible as the old tank has a bad gas level gauge in it. Any thoughts on this? Thanks JohnB

That will alert him when he logs on. He's "been there, done that" with a Predator Hawg Ty, which you should know because he has commented in your other threads.

Well after an afternoon on the internet I think I have the issue solved. It looks like the old gas tank will fit on the new 212 engine. And after much searching, I think I have found a new gas gauge that will work. I ordered it and will keep my fingers crossed. For now, I will just leave the fake tank off. I will let you all know when I get the parts. Later

Glad you worked it out. I use the fake gas tank to protect the battery and electronics I have attached under it.
No problem filling the gas tank.
