Predator problem

I have a predator with a billet flywheel,springs,long connecting rod and adv key way and it will run good for a couple seconds and then shut off. i dont have the oil sensor in it. What is wrong?

I started it with out the air cleaner on it and i drilled out the jet already cause i put the after market filter on it. It has never ran just put it together this winter.

And you can see somthing spraying out of exauhast a little bit.

How much did you drill it out?

not sure but i think its right because i had another motor that worked with the jet

No 2 motors are the same. Even if their built the same. If that makes any sense. Lol. Check your plug. It might not be burning up your fuel correctly. plug might get hot then goes out. :shrug: check coil gap too. Other than that maybe try another carb.

got it! somehow my valves got adjusted wrong. but thank you gray goose

does any one know the rocker ajustment and when to adjust them like on what stroke?

after you set your valve lash pull the pullstart a few times over and double check the valve lash.
