What brand primer is everyone using for priming the frame?

I use the Rustoleum stuff most of the time. My expectations are pretty low with it so I'm usually happy with it. IMO, prep is more important than what primer or paint one uses.

If the minibike is a rider, put the cheapest paint in a color you like on it. It will get fucked up quick.

The bike will be for pleasure rides not much rough riding. I will be doing the paint job myself and agree prep is everything. Thanks.

I've used SEM for years. Really good stuff.

A light coat of Rust-Oleum self etch primer then a light coat of Rust-Oleum gray primer.
