Pro series mini bike

33 flat out on the governor. I weigh about 245. Gotta pull off the cvt cover and run it on the stand once to see if anything else is holding it back.
Hmm thats odd that mine does 44mph out of the box with just the screw turned out. I guess I will have to do another speed run to verify once more.

Elevation maybe?
Made a visit to the Sherriffs office today. As long as I add a brake/tail light, a flag, wear a helmet, and have liability insurance I can ride it in town. It's now insured at $5 a month, working on brake light next. I custom built all the brake/tail lights and turn signals on my old Goldwing with LED's so this ought to be easy.

My throttle screw was backed out all the way out of the crate, have to see if this governor has different holes for the springs.

When I spoke to the Sherriff all I did was mention they allow 3 wheelers in town, flag only, no lights or helmet, and he seen my point, my biggest hurdle was my association with the guy who owns the chopper shop here in town, we build bikes together, he is a heck of a nice guy and great friend, but openly opinionated and not afraid to speak up. Hasn't been a big supporter of the current Sherriff.

Wow you must live in a small town. Mines small but close to large cities. No way would I be able to ride it on the road no matter what I did to it.

Population is just under 900.
Big farming community, the farmers like to run their ATVs and UTVs into town.
Yeah I don't see the big deal. If the town wants the registration money then just charge $25 a year or something and let the ATVs n mini bikes ride around town. Others have to watch out for motocycles anyway but thats ok because the city/town is getting money. It's all about money.

I don't have an MM-B212, but I've seen pictures showing them having built-in brake light switches activated by the levers, like on motorcycles.

Switch would look similar to this.

There is a boss on the levers where it looks like a micro switch could have been added but the banjo bolt hydraulic switches work just as well I think, and were really easy to put on so I'm okay with using those. They were about $15 each and I have them wired parallel so that either or can activate it. everything I got to do all my light modifications I purchased off of Amazon including the electronic flasher which is adjustable and actually needs to be adjusted in order to get it to blink, I do believe that that is why it has a bunch of bad reviews, is because nobody adjusted it before reviewing it. The banjo bolts are 10mm x 1.25 if anybody wants to try it on one of these.

Others have searched for DOT certified tires in 19x7-8 size and I don't think anyone found any. The Kenda Road Go is certified for road use in Europe but isn't USDOT certified. The "Road Go" on the sidewall might be enough to satisfy a county clerk if you don't mention that technicality.

I'm actually looking at going to the darkside.
A 215/60r8 trailer tire may fit. They are very similar in size. The Kenda K399 specifically. View attachment 245971
Kenda's specs list a section width of 8.9" for that size, around 2" wider than your current tires; I doubt you have room for that wide a tire. They also spec a 7" wide wheel for that size, yours are 5.5" (wheel width is measured distance between flanges, not outside/overall width) which would put a serious pucker on a 9" wide tire. Since you are familiar with "going darkside", I assume you are aware of the arguments against using square-profile tires on single-track vehicles; I support those arguments against doing so. While I will say it's not as big of an issue on a minibike as it is on a motorcycle, I would expect it to have negative effects on handling, especially on hard surfaces.
