It's not diffucult to widen a frame...which may be what you want to end up doing so you can fit some wider wheels and center the drivetrain.



Here's how I like to keep my torquey engines from sliding around when I use slotted engine-mounting plates...the bolts make it easier to set the chain or belt tension, too...they hold the engine where you want it while retightening the mounting bolts.

It's not difficult to modify or build a minibike frame, and it really makes it easier in the end to get a bike that functions well with the other components you've chosen. Plus, you can use or add custom touches...



I think the next one will be made from a few hundred feet of barbed wire...this one is 23 ft of tow chain.
