Rear tire shifting on screw?

#1
Hey everyone. Very very new to mini bikes. I bought a frame engine etc and I took the tires off so I can strip and repaint the frame. Now I'm trying to put the rear tire back on and I slide the screw into the frame through the tire and put the bolt on. However the tire slides left and right on the screw. How do I stop this? It will cause issues obviously with the chain. Thanks ahead of time!

Ok I just made one instead one other question. The predator 79cc engine I got came with no throttle body. Where can I get one? There is the little gold piece (I'm assuming the trottle) but it's not attached to anything. And where the linkage setup should be, there are two screw holes. I'm assuming the previous owner removed it.

Just today I used PVC to mock up the spacers I needed, then I machined steel tubing to the same size as the PVC. I would never think of using PVC on a bike I'm going to ride.

I apologize but after a few hours of research I realized I don't have a throttle at all. No lever, just the handle and cable. Where can I purchase a throttle that will fit my 79cc? I'm already furious I paid what this guy paid ($100 for it - he said it was brand new). It should have come with it and when I asked him he gave me some bs excuse.

IMG_0941.JPG The metal bar from left to right, and the lever on the right are all what is missing on my engine. If I could ride it without it, or knew a way to rig it, i would. Could someone recommend where I can purchase this? Preferable I would like to buy it local (home depot, lower etc) but I'm sure what to even ask for. Is that a throttle? a lever? A linkage? Also could one of you send me a link (even if its eBay) where I could purchase this part.

You can run it without those just have to make a bracket to attatch your cable directly to the carburator. But it controls the goveroner if you want that. I may have the parts you want if I can find them.

I only have the one thumb throttle part none of the lincages or screws. But you dont really need my part. If you want to run with the goveroner you can hook youre cable to the goveroner arm with a spring and it will act the same. I dont have a pic of the basic factory setup but it would help you understand what i mean. Heres some pics of an engine I have with the cable directly to the carb. I made a little bracket to mount the cable and welded a little twisted piece of steel to the carb to hook my cable up. also a pic of the part i have that you dont really need.

Ok Heres the factory setup I have colored in pink and the red X is the part you want but dont really need. The red line is showing where you can put your throttle cable if you want to keep the goveroner. just remember you need to keep that spring if you want it to work right. youll probrobly also need a second spring coming off the cable going back to a solid spot on the engine so youre throttle cable will return properly

At the very least you use only mild steel tubing or stack washers for spacing which is tacky but they work and will not shred under hard side loads, I have seen thin steel conduit used that mushroomed even so soft copper or plastic is not a viable spacer material. Minibikes are fun and can be fast as hell but they feel no pain.

I can't lie, I am so utterly confused and I apologize but I'm so new to all of this. Here are actual pics of my engine. I realize that gold swivel makes the engine go faster/slower and I apologize but I have no idea what it's called. So your saying I can build my own? I have the cable and I also have a spring that was attached to the gold piece but it was just pulled to stay on max, which obv won't work. Your pictures above still show parts that I don't have. image.jpg image.jpg
