relocating fuel tank

HI I was wondering if anyone had a 5 hp Briggs that they relocated the tank. I know the carb kinda sits in the tank and was wondering if there was any solutions I want to run a gas tank on the frame. Thanks :glare:

Your best bet would be to run a Briggs Flojet carb or am aftermarket carb and intake such as a Mikuni. You cannot make the pulse a jet carb work with a remote tank.

A friend of mine used a brass fuel line fitting in the top of the tank to connect the Briggs tank to a Azusa tank he had on his bike, he would just open the valve on the frame mount tank to fill the Briggs tank when it got low. I don't imagine that is what you want though. Like minibikin' said, you'll need a different carb. :thumbsup:
