Re: no power, I got a 70 Garelli 50cc 4 speed on my Broncco/Mini bat, with no power. Starts hard, idles ok. I'm hoping the piston rings are simply stuck and not moving freely to make good compression. Might be your issue also. I will check compression before and after cleaning the ring grooves.

Could be the reason, I need at first to check the carburetor. The crank seals are probably dead especially in the ignition side(dry) . I will proceed with a compression test…
I had a 90cc Vanvan, engine rebuilt but no power, carburetor was not clean enough…
