rupp ruppster questions

I'm just wondering if the ruppster came with any other motor then the jl230. I found one with a rupp 340 and the rear end looks original not hacked up looks like it was original setup. Does anyone know if rupp made the ruppster prototype or a upgraded ruppster with a 340?

Sorry but I say no to Rupp ever making a unit like yours and they would never put out pipes like that. I only sold I think 2 units and one was the shop demo.

Yeah, Steves right,plumbing black pipe fittings & motorcycle mufflers.
As I remember the JLo 230 and 295 both were single cylinder 2 stroke engines and very close in size were the choices. None had a twin cylinder,and you wouldn't see any change on the diff.if someone changed it out..only the driver clutch would be different.
They are a cool buggy,,but really aren't up to being treated rough !
IMO that rollbar on that one just ruins it...but that's just me :wink:
