Ruttman and their tecumseh motors. Please advise.

On a early 70's HS40. Did Ruttman use bushings or seal bearings around crank? Also, does anyone no what type fuel elbow would have been on the carb. for that year/ manufacture? Plastic or metal. My early 70's has a metal elbow but the arm on it seem just a little longer.

use your engines model numbers to search the parts listings, they will show if it was a Bearing or bushing (typically the ball bearing was not used on the HS40 basic recreational engines but was factory standard on the HS50 rec spec engines) there are carb breakdowns as well in the parts lisitings which can usually figure out which fuel inlet they used. Have to do some searching sometimes of the part numbers to find photos (like NOS parts being sold on ebay) since some of the stuff is NLA or not shown in an actual photo.

Ya, I do that from time to time. Its sometimes tough. people who sell without box just match to another and ends up with a stern number.
