I just picked this up. All original Ruttman Short Frame Spyder. This is an all Original 1 owner that sat since around 1974' It is a very early 1970 . 4 H.P. Flag engine. It has the rare aluminum half sprocket. said they hardly rode. Original Plum Crazy paint. The original 1" pleated padded seat. Tab Loc 6" x4" wide 5 Spoke wheels. It is all there and unmolested. These are getting tougher to find.

Hi Delray, sorry I could not get back to you sooner my mom was in the hospital all week. They came both ways most of my original Spyders have side fill. All the Toads, Wildgoose's and Vultures small frame were center fill. He changed the large frames in late 77' They were all center fill when Tecumseh went with all center fills to save money on two tanks. The bend in the frame is what he changed heading to the fork.
