No I didn't pay anywhere near his asking price. He told me he wanted $400 for it... of course that was right after he opened this morning. In fact it was still in his van. He took it out when I asked him about it. I offered him $200 and he said No so I wondered off. I went back about 3:30 ish and bought it at a deep discount.
Other Cool bikes he had for sale? Do you mean his "trike" and that elec scooter thing? I heard him tell another guy he would take $20 for the elec scooter thing.
I don't know what he wanted for the trike. I was only interested in the Pink Cadillac
The frame and forks are very straight. The wheels and tires are in great shape. You just have to look past the florescent pink color.
I got it running and drove it around the yard. It runs good but has ZERO brakes. A clutch band brake is needed before I can ride it any further. The seat isn't a problem. There are plenty of brand new seats on Ebay for $40.
