I received an email from the organizer of this event. This is a direct copy/paste from his email. Anybody in the area/state, come on out. This could be a great start to future get togethers.

Got some more info (email) yesterday from the event organizer....

Ok folks it's about one week away. Hope yall are ready. It's going to be awesome to finally see this happen. Just a few things to keep in mind for the show.
The parking is limited in the Auto zone lot, I have about 15 spaces they will let me use. There is a street that runs along next to the field that people can park on both sides if needed. There is also a small parking lot behind the Sonic that we are allowed to use. Please be kind to park with enough room behind peoples trucks so that they have plenty of room to unload. Those of you with trailers I should be able to fit a few in the field next to the track. I will set up a ramp for the curb. When you pull in look for someone to flag you in. There is traffic on that street so roll your toys into the messaround area please don't ride in. There will be a display area set up next to the track for all to enjoy so line them up single file so it looks killer. We will start to ride at around noon so every one has plenty of time to get ready. Make sure you have a helmet and plenty of gas. If you plan to sell in the swap meet area make sure to put a phone number on your stuff if you plan to walk around or ride. On the track there will be a few mini bike wranglers directing traffic so please follow their commands. There will be separate sessions for go karts and mini bikes. We will play it by ear as to how many riders will be on the track at a time. This is my first time for this. I just want everyone to have a great time and to be safe.

latest weather shows t-storms late afternoon so I packed up the truck and am dropping wife off in sam marcos at my daughters will see how weather is then.

Here are some pictures from the meet. Day started out crappy as it was drizzling a bit. (figures worst drought in years and the day of their first show for Mini's and karts it rains). But as the day progressed more bikes, hot rods showed up. There were a lot of motors for sale and swap meet stuff but they ran it well. there was a field to ride in setup with buckets for markers and the hosts had extra helmets. Kids had fun and one guy with a DB with a hopped up clone was tearing up the track pretty good. Here are some pics.
