Sears 4+4 resto

#1
Picked up this 4+4 sears a couple months back and going to start to “resto mod” it. I had a Sears drover when I was 12 or so and have been looking for one for several years. This one is pretty complete minus the engine but it’s rusty, crusty, painted over, the usual neck reweld/repair, etc..etc.. Plus side is chain guard is present along with original tags, brakes, rims, and fenders! Thanks for looking!

5 HP Engine fires with starter fluid, missing carb, intake, air cleaner, took it apart, new gaskets, port the intake and exhaust bowl, removed governor, lap valves, oil mod on rod, shaved head about .009, it had a 1” crank shaft so I decided to turn it down to 3/4” should be a nice little hot rod motor .

Great job! I loved the metallic blue that was on the frame in your "before" pics. I bet that was a pretty thing when new. Looks nice now too. Makes me wanna jump in on my three projects.
