should I get a torque converter

#1

Hi I just joined this forum and got into mini bikes.
About a 3 weeks ago i bought my doodlebug. its has been a lot of fun with the stock 6.5 212 on it. But im starting to upgrade it, right now just some basics upgrades like intake, jet and exhaust. I was thinking of get a torque converter because from what i had read you get more torque and a higher top speed. Do you think this a good idea or a waste of money and time.
also if someone else has done this what did your top speed get to because my top speed is about 29 miles per hour.

Heck ya! Everyone needs a torque converter. I'd even put one on my dog if I could!

Welcome welcome, save some of that money this won't be your last bike!!:scooter:
I definitely would invest in one, it helps tremendously with low end torque, you will gain higher top speed (to a degree), with more mods to that 212 and changing springs on the TAV you'll be faster than you need to be on a small mini. Depending on if your a speed demon or not.
