Sidekick/Cushman scoot project

#1
Hi all
Thanks for having me.
I got this yesterday for 75 bucks and came straight here to learn about it.
I am going to try to get it to look kinda sorta like this for our WW2 reenactments.
Real paratrooper scooters cost as much as a small house.
I don't see how to post photos so I'm sorry
Wish I could show you I need asvice

Been tinkering away and have found a little Information about this one.
It takes a 5/8 belt and has what I think is a
universal powr-pak

I don't know small engines
But I met a man that owns a lawnmower shop.
He's rebuilding my 1971 5hp engine while I fix his willys jeep brakes.
And it turns out that Toro snow blowers use the same size tractor tires and they are cheap

Feeling kinda shitty today (arthritis amd ulcer)but am chomping at the bit to finish the sidekick.
I am so close to being done but i know kneeling to work on it is going to hurt
