The wheel bearings in my Simplex Compact Sportsman do not appear to be the normal 1&3/8 bearings. Can any of yall tell me what they are and maybe where I can find them. Trying to get this thing back on the road.

Ok, I got it. They are just tapered roller bearings and seem to be a common size. It was hard to see what I was dealing with, at first, because of 60 years of grease in the hubs, LOL.

Take a close look at how the races are removed. You might have to purchase or grind a punch to do the job to allow removal without any collateral damage. Same with the installation, would need the perfect sized race punch.
