e\Evreytime I go to shop they hand me a different plug
NGK what is model number plug for briggs 80202 L head 3 hp

Also the taller one they sold the kill lever won't hit plug to tall

I have a 1990 80212 sitting right here with the original plug in it. Champion J19LM is what it came with, but I’m sure there are other options which will work just as well.

Admittedly I’m learning which is why I have the model and year. What are the differences between a 70’s L head and the 90 L head I have here? Thank you.

My local Wall Mart doesn't carry. I ordered 4 pack on eBay. Tried to get from local lane mower repair shop.
They didn't have either they sold me replacement when I got home I compared numbers and its same size but 2 numbers lower on heat range
The cj8 champion is 8 on heat range. They sold me a ngk that was only a heat range 6 they don't care if it screws in good enough lol
nobody cares anymore, to do a min of extra work to dbl check nor do they care.
