Thinking about the struggles of all the people (and members) in the southern states getting hit by this hurricane. I can't believe the reports of weather already falling on North Carolina, Georgia and Tennessee. Hope everybody can stay secure and safe through it all.
Bright sunshine here in eastern NC today. I hope you folks up north and west of us will be as safe and dry. Just be careful and don't drive unless you can see the bottom. If the pavement isn't visible, there is not a road there. Stop/ Back up and quit driving around those barriers, you stupid minibiker!
Hence all the mud I suppose. I never thought I'd see a hurricane map showing the tip of a storm at the Illinois/Kentucky border. But there it was. And by Friday night, 50mph wind ripping straight through Chicago, headed south in a hurry. Like a reverb of atmospheric pressure.
And they say don't travel in or to NE North Carolina, but how does one help? I'm praying responders can get to where they're needed most, and quickly.
Our local news station was reporting all major roadways in western NC are closed and some water access is blocked by debris. They are talking about air fitting inflatable boats in for rescue work.
We used to get all the wind and rain over here in eastern NC, I have never seen one go past us on the west and flood the mountains. Pray for those people. That is rough country under normal conditions.
Damn, that's bad. As of this morning in montgomery county ohio(Dayton) there are still a couple thousand without power, that is halfway up the state. I just can't imagine how much worse it was 3 or 4 hundred miles south.
I hate to point fingers here, but if we spent less on illegal immigrants and more on our infrastructure..wait...didn't we pass a huge infrastructure law a couple years ago?
We now return you to your regularly scheduled programming.
