Still lurking but with a new toy

Sold the 66 chevelle project car and picked up a barn find 64 super sport chevelle. Sat for 18 years. They put in a new gas tank and I drove it home 250 miles. I have put on 400 or so in 3 weeks. She needs some love but it's a great driving car.

very nice...love the rims..If you change the rims just have them widened and stuff them under the rear. very cool ride

Nice ride! My dad owned a 65 Malibu SS new off the showroom floor. I always wanted to get one for myself. Love the dog dish hub caps.

Thanks she is cool. It has a 327 with a power glide 10 bolt rear pulls 15/16 mpg . The caps are off of a 55/56 bel air they have little bow ties going round the cap....I will post pics as she progresses...first on the chopping block is the god awful red interior:no:

don't blame ya on interior color..........but........save it. don't destroy the parts, esp by 'painting' 'em. you will regret it.

If you rip up the original interior, you've just made that car worth pretty much 1/3 what it's worth now.

Its an original red on red car. Needs seats re covered ..door panels...headliner....etc I'm going black interior
