I'm thinking it's just a Gilson. I believe the Allis Chalmers version had black forks.

Well the Fork could of been painted to match the frame.Really cant tell there is no big difference from what i can see or tell.It was originally from Iowa and the original seller had it for 25 years he says he was always under the assumption it was a AC

Look at my latest purchase. It's a RARE Allis Chalmers. Someone just painted it black. The previous owner found a picture of and AC mini bike online that looks just like it so he figured it was the same bike.

Didn't the Allis Chalmers version have the mag rims not the wire spoke rims.

Allis Chalmers Mini bikes had a version called Flite 500 that came with the Big Wire Wheels

It doesn't matter what the original bike was. Without the ID plate, it's just a Gilson. You could never prove it was one or the other. It could also just be a Wards version of a Gilson.
