Well the Fork could of been painted to match the frame.Really cant tell there is no big difference from what i can see or tell.It was originally from Iowa and the original seller had it for 25 years he says he was always under the assumption it was a AC

Look at my latest purchase. It's a RARE Allis Chalmers. Someone just painted it black. The previous owner found a picture of and AC mini bike online that looks just like it so he figured it was the same bike.

I could use those forks :laugh:

It doesn't matter what the original bike was. Without the ID plate, it's just a Gilson. You could never prove it was one or the other. It could also just be a Wards version of a Gilson.
