That exhaust pipe looks a little like a modified version of the coveted Gilson exhaust. I don't think it's original, but I like it.

Beautiful! Dunno if you ever saw his thread/bike or not, But member Mark G was able to get a great example of one of these awhile back and detailed it out, even brought out the original Gloss shine on the engine....I said it, Tecumseh's were gloss

Yours might not come out as cleans as Mark's did, but I bet with some gentle detail work it would for one heck of a great looking survivor!!!

I agree 100%....The Tecs were VERY VERY glossy for sure. Time and time again i've been accused of repainting the shrouds on many of my Cat and other survivors....nope not the case at all. They polish up THAT well

Whoever put the chrome pipe on the wore the threads out of the block. I go the Tecumseh part 730163 so I could put the original muffler back on.
